Ahoy m'hearties! I'm just awaiting final edits and layout work to be completed by Mike on the rulebook and it will be sent to printing. Once that's done we'll be able to ship the vast majority of pledges and items. 

I mentioned in the last update that we'll split some pledges so that you get the core stuff- your rulebooks and crews etc. in one package with a later one to follow. The only items that look like they'll need to ship later now are the Dread Sea Trolls and the two boats. In both cases a small amount of additional sculpt work was needed to ensure they print and cast ok due to their size and complexity.

So if ordered those please bare with us a little longer - they will come as a 2nd package as soon as they are ready.

Everything else - now including the lovely mats - will ship in February. 

Thanks so much for your continued patience. I've added some extra artwork and photos to the rulebook whilst we've been waiting on some of the other bits to be done, and I hope you'll all be really pleased with the finished article.

Delays, Updates and a Merry Christmas!

'Good evening me hearties! Tis with a sigh and a heavy heart that I have to accept we are not going to get your glorious rewards, for which you have waited patiently, until 2020. There are 2 main reasons for this, one unavoidable and one being a choice I have had to make.

Firstly - I haven't received the Kickstarter exclusive miniatures yet, and given how close it is to Christmas, even if they arrive shortly there would not be time for me to ship them onto backers this year. 

Secondly - I have recently received more and useful feedback on the rules, and this delay gives me the opportunity to ensure that they are the very best that they can be before I send them out.

I'm really sorry for the continued delay. I'm sure it's a disappointment to many of you. I hope that it will be a short one, and that the extra stuff I can add to the book will make the wait a little more tolerable. 

In the meantime, our sculptor Ian continues to work on sculpts for the next crews, so as soon as we ship we can move onto the next phase! 

I wish you all the merriest of Christmases in case we have no update before then and will speak to you as soon as possible.

Evening m'hearties! Well, November's done and you don't have your booty in your hands yet so you deserve an update. The good news is that the two mains crews are DONE and ready to go - as you can see: 

We are still waiting on the tokens and limited Kickstarter miniatures to be cast, but we're hoping they won't be long. In the meantime I've also been waiting on some art to finish off the book. Sadly I think it's going to have to go to the printers without a couple of pieces I was hoping for as I've not heard anything back from one artist in some time. As such we will pull the book together this week and send for printing. 

I've made the decision that as soon as we have the books back we will then ship them and the 2 main gangs, and you'll receive everything else you've pledged for or ordered in a second shipment asap. 

JUST ONE MORE THING

If you give us some feedback on the beta rules, we'll give you this brand new and EXCLUSIVE* miniature for absolutely nothing. We won't even add anything to postage costs. We would appreciate feedback especially from people who have managed to play the game, but if not, any thoughts on the rules will bag you the miniature. As long as it's not just "they suck" or "they're ace" - so I guess we either want ONE SPECIFIC THING you like or ONE SPECIFIC THING you would change. And that's all you need to do to bag a Cabin Boy Mike mini. 

If you're able to play a game of Pirates of the Dread Sea and give feedback, even better, send us a picture and everyone playing the game (up to an additional 3 people) gets a free miniature.

Hi all. You should have received an e-mail yesterday inviting you to finalise your pledge choice and choose any add ons. Check your spam and junk if you didn't receive it and feel free to get in touch with any problems.

Big thanks to those of you who got in touch straight away to alert us to a couple of errors where some items weren't showing as available. We think everything is fixed now but do get in touch with any further questions or queries.
