Trolls!

Hi all! The last of you should be receiving your cards as soon as local postage can get them to you.

We also, finally, have trolls at the manufacturers and nearly ready to go! 

In the meantime, you've likely noticed we have another Kickstarter on the go. This hasn't impacted on the delivery of THIS project as the sculptors and producers are different and the projects are parallel rather than either taking precedent to anyone.

If you haven't seen it yet, it's called The Drowned and the Damned and takes the world of Pirates of the Dread Sea to fleet level!

Troll Sightings and our New Kickstarter!

Whilst the Trolls are still not ready to go into production, as the 3D printers remain closed due to Covid, we are now expecting to be able to print them in early September and get them into manufacture the same month. In the meantime I have printed one out on my home printer, so you can see just how big these brutes are! 

Updates on the dinghies soon.

In the meantime our new campaign for the Skrier and Orcs and Goblins crew has funded already! In case you've missed word of this. it's a campaign for 2 news crews, plus some narwhals and fairy assassins, and you can back it here: http://kck.st/3g6NISs

Although funded, we're hoping to hit some stretch goals to unlock some NPC's like Gorgons!

All Pledges Packed, Update on Cards, Next Moves

Ahoy me hearties! Sorry it's been a while since we updated you, but the good news is that this message is all good news!

All the main pledges have now been packed so the last few to go out will be in the post tomorrow morning. The last few are for the USA and New Zealand and other similarly far away places so bare in mind that it may still be a while until those pledges are received. 

I say "main" pledges because, as you're all aware, there have been further delays on some products. I will update on all of them:

Matts: this are being posted this week.

Cards: good news here - we initially had an estimated delivery date of September 3rd but yesterday received an update that the cards are actually now on there way! So I'll start sending these out ASAP. 

Dread Sea Trolls: these are still delayed initially due to having to have some design elements worked on (basically splitting the large models into more manageable/printable parts) and then due to our 3d printers being furloughed. As I understand it this situation is due to be reviewed very soon.

Dinghies: these are printed but we had a slight problem with one piece. We're hoping that this will be sorted within days now, so we can put these into production. 

We hope all of you who have received your main pledges are happy with what you have. We've had lots of positive feedback and I thank you all again for your patience. 

I have always intended that Pirates of the Dread Sea should be fully supported with regular releases and new features for you all to enjoy. As such, the next moves were planned months ago, and we are nearly ready to move forwards with our next two crews! It might seem odd that we are able to do this before shipping everything from this campaign, but that is simply how things have turned out, as these models were not large or complex like the trolls and dinghies. 

I am very pleased to announce that our next Kickstarter is coming on July 28th (hopefully you'll all have your main pledges before then!) 

The campaign will be to manufacture and release 2 crews and some extras. The crews are the Skrier and the Orc/Goblin Crew. In addition to this there will be 2 Fairy Assasins to pledge for and a Narwhal or two!
